It is with deep sadness that the family of Carol Ann Blundon (nee Kinsella) of Bay de Verde announce her peaceful passing on September 14, 2026, aged 74 years.

Predeceased by parents, Ann and Leo Kinsella; sisters, Patricia Cooper (Winston) and Lynn LeRoux (Wayne); brother, Donald Kinsella; brothers-in-law: Mose Blundon (Eliza), Clayton Blundon, Ed Blundon, and Gordon Blundon (Madeline); sisters-in-law: Ann Weldon (Bob), Bride Walsh (Ron), and Donna Driscoll; and parents-in-law, Henry and Margaret Blundon.

Left to mourn with many fond memories, her devoted husband of 52 years, Alfred; daughter, Melissa; son in law, Corey; granddaughters, Breanna and Leah, whom she cherished; brother-in-law, Ern Blundon (Joan); sister-in-law, Judy Blundon; special nephew Randy Walsh; along with a large number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Born and raised in Bay de Verde, Carol moved to Toronto where she married her husband and together they raised their daughter. After forty years they retuned to Winterton to live out their retirement years. Carol enjoyed the quiet life, especially spending time with her family. There was nothing she loved more than being Nan.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear for their kindness and compassion as well as to the Paramedics and the Winterton Volunteer Fire Department.

Cremation has taken place.

Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service to take place at 1:30 pm. from Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel, Old Perlican on Sunday, September 20, 2026.
Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
