Ray Snelgrove
1954-2026
It is with great sadness that we, the family, say goodbye to Ray
Snelgrove,
beloved husband, father, and grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend,
who passed away suddenly on September 6, 2026, aged 71 years.
Predeceased by parents, Lloyd and Gertie Snelgrove; brothers, Clayton (Pearl) and David (Lucy); and sister, Florence (Derrick).
Leaving to mourn, his wife of 40 years, Genevieve; sons, Curtis (Kayla) and Matthew;
grandchildren, Grayson and Griffin;
sisters: Ruth (Bob), Lorraine (Gary), and Effie (Conrad);
as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Our family would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Dr. Vidyasankar, Dr. Coffey, and Dr. Nel for taking care of our loved one. Also, to the doctors and nurses at A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican and the Bay de Verde Volunteer Fire Department, Bay de Verde, we extend our gratitude. Thank you for everything you do.
As per Ray's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
As an expression of sympathy a donation may be made in Ray's memory to the Bay de Verde Volunteer Fire Department, Bay de Verde.
