M. Marjorie Emberley

It is with deep sadness that the family of Mary Marjorie Emberley of Bay de Verde announce her peaceful passing on June 3, 2026 at the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican.

Predeceased by parents, George and Maud Hopkins; husband, Thomas; siblings: Rose, Florence, Pleamon, and Caleb.

Leaving to mourn with precious memories, sister Robie (Lloyd); brother-in-law, Doug Hyde;
sons, Duane (Jeanette) and Arthur (Tamara);
daughters: Annie (Glenn), Doris, and Iola;
7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren;
nieces, nephews and a circle of extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican for their kindness, care and all they have done for our loved one.

Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Saturday, June 6, 2026 2:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service to take place from Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 2:00 pm.
Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
