Mark Driscoll

It is with great sadness that we, the family, say goodbye to Mark Driscoll,
beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend
who passed away after a courageous battled with cancer on May 5, 2026, aged 61 years.

Mark loved his family and would do anything to put a smile on their faces. He loved fishing, hunting, bike rides, playing cards, and exploring Newfoundland. Those who knew mark understood his love for the ocean and the peace he found there. His funny and kind words will be missed by all who knew him.

Predeceased by parents, Murdock and Mable; sister, Hilda.

Leaving to mourn with very heavy hearts are his loving wife of 35 years, Bernice;
his two children, who were his pride and joy, son, Christopher (Brooklyn); daughter, Kayla (Curtis);
brothers: Wally (Christine), Jim (Diane), Randy (Sharon), and Glen (Deb);
sisters, Louise (Max) and Phyllis (Herb);
special little buddy, Grayson; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

The family would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the doctors and nurses at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, St. John's; also to Dr. Vidyasankar for his care to our loved one over the past three years; and to the doctors and nurses at Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican. Your kindness and compassion do not go unnoticed. Thank you to each of you for everything you do.

Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Friday, May 8, 2026 2:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service to be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 2:00 pm. from Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel, Old Perlican.
Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Grate's Cove.

There will be a small gathering after the committal in the Rec Centre, in Grate's Cove to which all are welcome.

As an expression of sympathy a donation may be made in Mark's memory to the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican.
