It is with deep sadness that the family of Theresa Kehoe of Red Head
Cove announce her peaceful passing on April 11, 2026 after a short

age.
Predeceased by daughter, Jackie; parents, Mark and Agatha Delaney; sister, Dorothy; sisters-in-law, Anne Delaney and Cathy Delaney; nephew, Jonathan Delaney; niece, Mary Delaney; and father and mother-in-law, Vincent and Agnes Kehoe.
Leaving to mourn, her loving husband Cyril of 54 years; sisters, Julie (Jethro) Milley, and Marion (Bruce) Squires; brothers: Stan (Anne-deceased), Edmund, Martin (Suzanne), Larry (Cathy-deceased), Joseph (Kim), Pat (Sandra), and Terry (Maria); sisters-in-law: Mary (Kevin) St. George, Marion (Terrence) Kehoe, Karen (Tommy) Lundrigan, and Tina; brothers-in-law: Edmund (Shirley), Eugene (Renee), Tom (Denise), John (Bonnie), Glen (Bernedene), Barry (Tanya), Dwayne (Sharon); as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Theresa was a long time employee of Quinlan Brothers, Bay-de-Verde. She had a relentless work ethic and was known for her kindness and commitment to her employer and colleagues.
She took pleasure in the simple things of life, like enjoyable walks on the walking trail in her community.
Her deep love for animals gave her a great sense of empathy and she sometimes nursed an injured bird until it was well enough to fly away. She loved her budgie birds, whom she called ¨the boys¨ and the stray cat that always came to her door to be fed. While she was in hospital, they were constantly on her mind, because she wanted to be sure that they were being cared for.
She had a great passion for baking and decorating cakes and over the years supplied many people with the type of cake they desired.
She had a deep, unwavering faith and was very involved in her church. For many years she was a sacristan at St. Anne's Church in Red Head Cove and at Assumption Parish, Bay de Verde. She was also an important and dedicated member of her church choir. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral home, Old Perlican on Sunday April 19, 2026, 11:00 am. to 5:00 pm. and 6:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. with a prayer vigil service at 7:00 pm.
Funeral mass to be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 11:00 am. from Assumption Parish Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde.
