Elizabeth "Lizzie" Hopkins

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Elizabeth "Lizzie" Hopkins announce her passing at the Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear on Monday, March 23, 2026, aged 88 years with her loving family by her side.

Predeceased by her parents, William James and Rebecca Keats;
husband, Sterling; daughter, Carol; grandson, Corey;
sisters, Jessie, Annie, Bertha Jane (Doll), and Esther;
brothers, Joe, Charl, Dave, and Jabez.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Gary (Louise), Lloyd (Elizabeth), Karen (Joey) Delaney, and Roy (Melissa);
son-in-law, Steve Eddy;
grandchildren: Bradley, Jason, Jamie, Rodney, Phillip, Michael, Rebecca, Jenna, and Kristen;
ten great grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and circle of friends.

Visitation at Brownsdale United Church, Brownsdale on Thursday, March 26, 2026 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
and on Friday, March 27, 2026 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.

Funeral service to take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 2:00 pm. from Brownsdale United Church, Brownsdale.
Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Brownsdale.
