Predeceased by parents, Clarence and Marjorie Coish; brother, Frank (Lynn) Coish; sister-in-law, Cathy (Bren) North;
brother-in-law, Norman (Marilyn) Emberley; parents-in-law, Paul and Lidia Emberley; and brother-in-law, Brian Johnson.
Leaving to mourn with precious memories, husband, Eric; daughter, Juanita (Kirk);
grandchildren, Erica (Jamie) and Jacob (Jessica); great grandchildren: Kaden, Kylie, and Kolton;
sister, Florence; brother, John (Barb); a number of nieces and nephews;
special friends, Gertie Walsh and Janice Reid; as well as further extended family and circle of friends.
"'A generous, and kind hearted lady' is a sentiment that many would use to describe Maudie Emberley. Many knew her and remember her from her days of working at the convenience store in Bay de Verde. There she would always welcome customers with open arms, a warm smile and a great chat. Children would never go without, as she was also known for putting her hand into her own pocket to offer change so that they would always have "enough money" to buy what they wanted. Maudie was always looking out for others, making sure nobody was hungry or in want for anything. She loved her family unconditionally and would go above and beyond for them all. Maudie knew how lucky she was to have a daughter with a heart as big as her own. She felt blessed with two grandchildren, who she got to help raise and watch grow into adults, and who then chose partners for themselves. Maudie then was over the moon, as she became a great grandmother to three precious great grandchildren, who she loved with all her heart. Through it all she knew the unconditional love of a wonderful husband, a man who would turn the world upside down for her and who was by her side for 57 years. She loved her parents, her brothers and her sister, her in-laws, her nieces and nephews, and every member of her family with all of her heart. She also had so many special friends of whom she thought so highly and spoke of often. Maudie lived a simple but fulfilling life. She touched so many with her kindness and generosity. She will be forever missed and forever loved." Erica
