Passed peacefully away on September 8, 2025 at the Carbonear General
Hospital, Carbonear, Edgar Beckett of Old Perlican, aged 78
years.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Muriel; parents, Gordon and Marione; and brothers: Oscar, Allen, and Ron.
Leaving to mourn his daughters: Joanne Kelley (Wayne), Wendy Dubue (Bill), and Amanda Beckett (Andrew);
grandchildren, to whom he was known lovingly as grandpa: Brian, Darren, Jessica, William, Jacob, and Jenna;
his cherished great grandchildren, Addison and Brooke;
long time companion, Gloria Beckett;
and sisters, Rosalyn and Louise.
Cremation has taken place.
Funeral service and interment to take place at a later date in Ottawa.
