G. Scott Power
1978-2025

It is with broken hearts, that we, the family, announce the unexpected
passing of Gerald Scott Power on June 19, 2025, aged 46 years.
Predeceased by his mother, Ruth Barnes Power.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories, his partner, Tracy Coish; son, Cannon;
father, Gerald; sister, Tammy (Dave); sister-in-law, Christy; nephew, Mackenzie;
special friends, Jamie and Roger; furbuds: Grizzly, Jingles, Moosey and Noname;
a number of cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family; and a wonderful circle of friends and coworkers.
"In Scott's 46 years of life there was hardly a moment that wasn't filled with hard work and happiness. He spent his life doing what he loved, be it hunting, fishing, learning to do new things, or just spending time with his family. Scott Power was truly one of a kind. He had an unbelievable amount of patience and he was heavenly blessed with a special kind of 'smarts' which allowed him to figure out and master much that was put before him. He could tackle anything, really, including work, fixing anything that was broken or in need of repair, including cars, bikes and sometimes even Cannon's homework! Scott could make anyone who knew him, laugh or smile. He was always willing to share his know how, even offering advice and sharing life's lessons especially with his son, Cannon, whose life he tremendously impacted, as well as with the lives of others. He positively touched the lives around him and will be missed more than words can express." ~ Cannon
