Ida Sutton

Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family, at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, Ida Beatrice Sutton of Bay de Verde, aged 87 years.
Ida was a kind, loving, fun person who had a tremendous sense of humour. Although she had no children of her own she was a loving mother/grandmother figure to many.
Predeceased by parents, Charles and Violet Sutton; brothers: Les (Bernice), Jim (Jessie) and Berkley; sisters, Jean (Brian) and Isabel; niece, Carol; nephew, John (Barb).
Leaving to mourn, sister-in-law, Ruth; brother-in-law, Ronald (Donna); nieces: Valerie (Melvin), Jeanie (Joey), Cindy (Andrew), Cynthia (Duane), Brenda, Marilyn (Doug), Judy (Dennis) and Debbie (Dave);
nephews: Lindsay (Lois), Wayne (Irene), Charlie (Lynn), Tony (Lynn), Ronnie and Robbie (Marcie);
a large number of great nieces and nephews who she dearly loved; as well as an extended circle of family and close friends.
A very special thank you to the staff of the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear who provided such great care and kindness for Ida.
Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Thursday, November 7, 2019 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm., Friday, November 8, 2019 10:00 am. to 9:00 pm., and Saturday, November 9, 2019 10:00 am. to 12:00 pm.
Funeral service to be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm. from St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde.
Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
As an expression of sympathy a donation may be made in Ida's memory to a charity of one's choice.
