It is with broken hearts that our family announce the passing of Ruth
Sophia Squires on January 1, 2018, aged 81 years.
Predeceased by parents, Frank and Hilda Young; sister, Hazel Hamlyn; brothers: Cyril, Winston and Walter.
Left to mourn, her loving husband of 60 years, George; beloved children: Trudy (Jesse Bown), Rosalind (Eric Janes), Paul (Denise), Margo (David Noseworthy) and Larry (Janice); precious grandchildren: Luke, Sarah (Jeff), Mark, Philip (Kassie), Emma, Hannah and Joshua; loving sisters: Bernice, Muriel and Una.
Resting at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, 8:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. and on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service to take place on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm. from Bethel United Church, Sibley's Cove.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth's memory to Bethel United Church, Sibley's Cove.
