Eileen Walsh

Eileen Margaret Walsh, aged 64 years, passed peacefully away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Eileen was born in Bay de Verde, NL. to Leo and Margaret Noonan. She married Gerard Walsh and spent most of her life living in different parts of the world where she made many friends and left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. Eileen loved life and treated everyone like family. Known for her ease in frequent conversations with even total strangers, Eileen possessed a contagious smile and entertaining sense of humour that made everyone feel loved. Her kindness, laughter and energy will never be forgotten. Eileen's incredible legacy will live on through her husband, Gerard; her children and their spouses, Shaun and Lyse and Kelly and Andrew; her four grandchildren: Katie, Luke, Nolan and Tyler, and another little darling on the way; her mother, Maggie; her four sisters: Evelyn, Rosie, Linda and Debbie; her three brothers: Aiden, Gerard and Carl; and her huge circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Friday, April 29, 2016, 10:00 am. to 9:00 pm. Funeral mass to take place on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm. from Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde. Inurnment to take place at a later date. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and doctors on 4NorthA at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's, for the outstanding care and compassion shown to Eileen and her family.
