Wanda Mansfield

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of a true, gentle and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Wanda passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on November 15, 2015, aged 53 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband, Avalon; daughter, Kimberley (Ryan); son, Brent (Kristen); grandson, Lucas; mother, Ruby Johnson; sisters: Gail (Kevin), Sheila, Kelly (Stephen); brothers, Derek (Paula) and Chad (Julia); brothers-in-law, Art (Liz) and Len (Louise); special friends, Ted and Linda Hopkins; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican, Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear and the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's for their kind and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican Wednesday, November 18, 2015, 2:00pm. to 9:00pm., Thursday, November 19, 2015, 10:00am. to 9:00pm. and Friday, November 20, 2015, 10:00am. to 12:00pm. Funeral service to take place Friday, November 20, 2015 @ 2:00pm. from St. Andrew's By The Sea United Church, Old Perlican. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Wanda's memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
