Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior Citizen's Home, Clarke's Beach on Friday, September 11, 2015, Nellie (Walsh) Broaders of Bay de Verde, aged 94 years. Predeceased by husband, Cyril and son, Thomas. Leaving to mourn sons, Gordon, Danny (Jessie); daughters: Paula (Ed), Doreen, Jenny (Bruce), Betty; a large number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as an extended circle of family and friends. Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 7:00pm. to 10:00pm., Monday, September 14, 2015 from 10:00am. to 10:00pm., and Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 10:00am. to 12:00pm. Funeral service to take place Tuesday, September 15, 2015 @ 2:00pm. from Assumption Parish Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in Nellie's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
