Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizn's Home in Carbonear on Sunday, September 6, 2015, Gertrude M. Doyle of Bay de Verde, aged 86 years. Predeceased by her husband, Ronald J. Doyle; parents, John and Ellen Noonan; brothers: John Jr., Benedict, Dominic (Peggy), Michael, Bernard and Alphonsus; sisters, Mary Catherine Noonan and Bridget Royal (Maurice). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, son, Tony (Marie), Bay de Verde; daughters, Bridget Emberley (Donald), Trenton, ON., and Patricia (Gary) Doyle, Grate's Cove; sisters-in-law: Julia Noonan, Margaret Noonan and Donna Noonan; grandchildren: Stephen Emberley (Amber), Andrea Emberley, Dawn Doyle, Tommy Doyle (Angela), Rhonda Anthony (Craig) and Melissa Meadus (Neil); great grandchildren: Catilyn and Byron Emberley, Allison and Shawn Meadus, Zander Doyle, Claire and Madison Doyle, Nicholas and Austin Anthony; special friend, Davey Brewer; as well as an extended circle of family and friends. Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Monday, September 7, 2015, 10:00am. to 10:00pm. and Tuesday, September 8, 2015, 10:00am. to 10:00pm. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 @ 2:00pm. from Assumption Parish Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
